Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

For the Love of Cookie Dough

Jessica and I were notorious for making a big batch of chocolate chip cookie dough and eating most of it before we even got to making the actual cookies. I am sure there were days when we just ate the dough and never actually made cookies. Even before I met Jessica, I remember my Mom following the directions off the nestle chocolate chip package and we would all wait for those sweet, delicious treats. The saltiness of the butter and the sweet from the chocolate provides the perfect combination of flavors. I love this recipe because it’s a healthier version of the OG dessert and with less than 10 ingredients you can whip these up in a matter of minutes.

Let’s get Started

Start by adding all of your dry ingredients to a large bowl.

  • Almond Flour
  • Oat Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Coconut Sugar
  • Salt

Give the dry ingredients a quick mix.

Next add your wet ingredients in the bowl with your dry.

  • Melted Butter
  • Liquid Egg White
  • Maple Syrup
  • Vanilla Extract

Mix all ingredients together and then fold in your chocolate chips. Once the chocolate chips are mixed in add your batter to an 8×8 parchment paper lined baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes depending on your taste. I love a doughy soft cookie so I tend to under cook.

After numerous tests and recipe changes I feel like this is it! These bars taste just like a chocolate chip cookie and we are struggling to keep them in the house we eat them so fast. I am sure you will love these healthier chocolate chip cookie bars as much as we do. 💗💗
