Easiest Oven Baked Buffalo Chicken Burger

We are officially into Spring and what better way to celebrate than with a burger! The great thing about this burger is that it’s baked in the oven, which means you can easily make them all year round. Burgers are also a great meal prep option because they re-heat so well. These oven baked buffalo chicken burgers also travel well and if you are OK with eating them cold you could have them at the soccer field as I often do.

Let’s get Cooking!

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grab a baking sheet and line with parchment paper. Spray parchment paper with a light layer of avocado oil.

Start by adding the ground chicken to a large bowl. Then it’s just a matter of adding the rest of the ingredients: Chopped yellow onion, blue cheese crumbles, buffalo sauce, egg and seasonings.

I am kind of a wimp when it comes to spicy, so I am thankful for this mild buffalo sauce. Using your hands or a spoon mix all of the ingredients together.

Next using a 1/2 cup measuring cup as your scoop, start adding the burgers to the baking sheet. You can use a spoon to flatten the burgers out a little if you want them larger. I usually get 5 big burgers and then maybe 1 small.

Bake at 350 degrees for 13 minutes and then flip and bake for another 5 minutes. Make sure the internal temp is 165 degrees.

How to Eat

Serve on a salad, on a big bun with all the fixings, in a big lettuce leaf or even make a crunch wrap in our favorite Cut da Carb Crunch Wraps.

Storage

Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
