Healthy Asian Salad Dressing

Your choice in a salad dressing can really make or break your meal and your health goals. This really simple recipe can be used on salads, marinating meats, or sauteing vegetables.

There are so many different types of salads dressings out there that it can be hard to choose the right one. Most of the store bought brands contain unhealthy trans fat oils (vegetable or canola) which can take you off track in reaching your goals. With this homemade version you can be sure that you are getting good quality ingredients to nourish your body. This recipe calls for avocado oil and apple cider vinegar which both have many health benefits.

Speaking of ingredients here is what you will need

  • Organic Coconut Aminos
  • Organic Avocado Oil
  • Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Water
  • Garlic Powder
  • Ground Ginger
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt

I can’t quite remember where I came across coconut aminos but I had heard about them from a friend when trying to find soy free options for soy sauce. If you haven’t tried them, I think you will be amazed at the wonderful flavor and close comparison to soy sauce. Costco carries a huge container of the Big Tree brand which is nice because we seem to go through a lot of it.

This super simple homemade dressing is sure to add flavor and piece of mind to any salad.
